Global Sustain aims to make the Green Finance & Sustainable Investments Forum a responsible event by offsetting the CO2 and other greenhouse gases emitted, as a result of the Forum. This includes:

1. Encouraging low carbon traveling and accommodation for its participants
2. Environmental friendly heating and energy use options, throughout the venue
3. Efficient paper use and decreasing printed materials.

Keeping in pace with the Environment and Climate Change, we do think about ways to maximize the benefits and minimize the impact of the Forum at the same time, in order to become the change we want to see in the world ourselves.

What are the fundamental ESG goals we are pursuing through the ESG Forum?

  1. Energy saving and offsetting attendee travel to and from Venue
  2. Waste minimization through diminishing single-use plastics, organics composting (where possible), waste streams separation (glass, paper, biodegradable, metals)
  3. Encouraging public transport and bicycles usage
  4. Ensuring diversity of Forum speakers and attendees in terms of gender, geographic origin and sectors, and types of organisations
  5. Fostering participants well-being, health and safety
  6. Addressing and solving complaints
