Volker  serves since September 2007 as Chairman of the Board for the Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen (FNG), the Sustainable Investment Forum of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He is currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MAMA Sustainable Incubation AG based in Berlin. Between September 2008 and November 2009 he worked for the consultancy Beratungsgesellschaft Erfinderdienst mbH based in Hamburg. From July 2002 until August 2008 he served on the board of directors of Swisscanto Funds Management AG as sustainability expert in international market structure and development. From 1999 to 2002 he worked in leadership positions at DekaBank, Frankfurt a. M., and the WestLB Group. There he mainly focused on the areas of market development, customer relationship management and capacity building.

Christian is head of loans / banks / fund management in the Investment Bank Berlin. After a bank apprenticeship and studying business administration at the University of Siegen, he worked, from 1993 until 1997, for the Weber bank and then until 1999 for Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse corporate customers. From 1999 until 2004 he was responsible in the gbb Beteiligungs AG, a subsidiary of KfW as an officer in the guarantee and investment business. With spin-off of Investitionsbank Berlin in 2004, Christian took over the structure of the lending business in the economic development of the IBB. In this role he is responsible for the entire range of commercial lending business of the SME financing to complex project financing. In addition, he is Regional Committee Chairman Berlin of the International Bankers Forum.

Ms. Martina Macpherson

Martina is the Founder and Managing Partner at SI Partners, an independent consulting firm, specializing in strategic Economic, Environmental Social and Governance advisory and research, investment content and education services. She is also a writer, lecturer and presenter on sustainable investment and corporate governance themes and contributes regularly to industry and academic publications. 

Martina is an NED board member & chair at the Global Thinkers Forum, a social-purpose think tank driving conversations around governance, society and trends. She also sits on the board of the Network for Sustainable Financial Markets, and on the analyst committee board at UKSIF, the UK’s sustainable investment and finance association. In addition, she is a charity trustee at the Thomas Arneway Trust helping small businesses and social enterprise. 

Martina is a member of the Institute of Directors, and an affiliate member of ICSA – the Institute for Corporate Governance, as well as of CIM and PRCA. She participates in a range of sustainable investment and ‘green’ finance working groups such as WE – Women in ETFs, the Accounting for Sustainability Network and Business Fights Poverty initiative.

David Mark is an Executive Director responsible for client coverage within index business focusing on Asset Owners and Consultants in German-speaking Europe. In this role he consults with clients with respect to their benchmarking needs and ensures they are aware of new developments.   He joined MSCI in 2010 and has been in the index business since 1995.

Prior to joining MSCI, he was Chief Executive at iBoxx (later International Index Co), where he established and managed the iBoxx bond and iTraxx credit derivative index families and was responsible for the overall strategy, planning and day-to-day management of the business. Prior to that he was a managing director at WM (performance measurement), established State Street Global Advisors’ presence in Germany and was a director at Bank in Liechtenstein.

Ms. Laura Palmeiro

Laura, is in charge of integrating sustainability topics and supporting sustainability governance at corporate level.
Launch and coordination of the Sustaianbility Integration Steering Committee, which should formulate Danone’s sustainability strategy for Board’s validation and follow-up the overall sustainability activities with relevant key performance indicators and targets. She is responsible for the internal activation and subsidiaries assesment of sustainability policies application through the Danone Way process (social, environmental and governance topics), for the extra financial reporting (French Grenelle Law, GRI4) and coordination of all relevant extra-financial audits. Laura has launced Danone’s first Integrated Report and is representative of Danone in industry associations such as AFEP (Association Française des Entreprises Privées) in sustainability topics. Finally she is the point of contact with NGOs (ie OXFAM), with extra-financial rating agencies (DJSI, Vigeo) and social responsible investors (SRI) and analysts, in collaboration with the Investors Reations department. Participation in SRI specific road shows.

RamonarMr. Ramon Arratia

Ramon, was named by The Guardian newspaper as one of the world’s top sustainable business tweeters. He is a strong advocate of product sustainability, blogs at the popular interfacecutthefluff and gives 50 speeches a year on the subject. He campaigns for stronger and more efficient European regulation based on product standards and for many years he led the “Cut the Fluff” campaign against labels, certificates, partial truths, marketing claims and all the components of the old sustainability beauty contest.

Ramon is the author of the book: Full Product Transparency, Cutting the Fluff out of Sustainability, where he argues the need of a shift from the corporate beauty contest of awards, certificates and case studies to measuring and reporting the real environmental impacts of products across their full value chains. In his current role as EMEAI Sustainability Director at Interface, he helps the company achieving Mission Zero (InterfaceFLOR’s promise to eliminate any negative impact it may have on the environment by 2020), at the same time as developing products and services with radically reduced impacts such as the Biosfera and Fotosfera collections.

Mr. Yannis Salavopoulos

Yannis Salavopoulos (MBA, MSc), is Managing Director, Global Sustain GmbH & Group Head International Affairs. He is also Visiting Lecturer for Public Affairs at SRH Berlin University and Senior Advisor for Public Affairs/Policy & Strategy for various companies. Yannis entered Global Sustain after a successful career in Economic Diplomacy, representing, for over a decade, Greece in Germany and earlier in United Arab Emirates. He served from 2007-2014 as First Embassy Secretary for Economic & Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of Greece in Berlin (Deputy Head of Economic Section). Before Berlin, he served as Third Embassy Secretary for Economic & Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of Greece in United Arab Emirates, (Dubai). He was responsible at both posts for bilateral economic, trade, exports, investment relations as well as for finance, energy, climate and sustainability policy issues. Till recently (2014-2015) he was at Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Athens Expert & Desk Officer for the bilateral economic & trade relations of Greece to Germany, USA (TTIP too), Canada (CETA too), Austria, Switzerland, Sweden & Cyprus.
